  • Introduction
3 years after Zhou Wei Yun took over the drama department as VP, a second VP Guan Xie En was hired to introduce competition in hope of raising drama ratings. Xie En and Wei Yun have different work styles, and rivalry was intense. The variety department is headed by new VP, Lin Tao, and show ratings improved under him. He is eager to succeed, not for the company, but for personal agenda, which sometimes makes him unscrupulous. The three VPs have different personalities and goals, but ultimately still in the same boat, thus maintaining a delicate friendship-rivalry. Outside work, Lin Tao is benefactor and godfather to Xie En’s son, Eddy, who resents Xie En for abandoning him and his brother after divorce. Lin Tao tries to fix their relationship. On the other hand, Wei Yun is managing a difficult relationship with her nephew Joey, who is trying to make it big in the entertainment scene. Fang Tong Lin and Zhao Fei Er are outstanding actresses who are also good friends in private. Tong Lin’s partner, aspiring director, Jason Lam, was Fei Er’s ex-boyfriend. Unfortunately Fei Er has not gotten over him, making things complicated between the three. Fei Er’s on-screen partner Zhong Yi Ming started out bickering with Fei Er but eventually falls in love with her. Dong Zi Huai, Fei Er’s half sister, came to seek revenge on her, sabotaging her work and friendships, forcing Fei Er into depression. Lin Tao betrays VBS to join rival TV station, only to find that his new boss is his arch enemy, Richard, and he was shattered. Faced with challenges in their career and relationships, will this group of TV professionals be able to make the right decisions? Will they be a positive influence and rise to the challenge?
